Display assignments
Display of existing assignments for this sentence
Here, words of a slave (translation) are assigned to the corresponding words of a master (source sentence). They should help the beginner to understand the translations. They also help to find words in the learning screen.
However, it is not always possible to translate word by word. Sometimes several words in the source language have to be assigned to several words in the target language.
The assignments can also be used to form word groups. These groups of words can then be selected to find examples of sentences.
The assignments are optional attributes. With long complex sentences they make no sense, at most for selected vocabulary or word groups in the sentence.
Only assignments that have been approved as correct by the administrator are displayed. Assignments are always compared with the master, so they are only displayed for the slaves (translations).
Who maintains the assignments?
If you enter a sentence and enter a translation for it, you can create the assignments yourself under "Edit". The administrators then check the assignments or enter the assignments themselves if they deem it necessary.
